The first blog of 2023! Happy New Year everyone. This year is bringing some big changes for Genny of all Trades. The first being that my CARD DECKS HAVE ARRIVED! I am so excited to share this project with you. It has been a long time coming. I have put all of my education, experience as a teacher and tutor, and my eagerness to promote accessible structured literacy training for everyone. The decks will be launching very soon. In other news, today is National Clean Off Your Desk Day! Again, if you follow me on Instagram you already know. Below is a list of actions your students/children can take to clean their desks today.
Having a tidy workspace is so much more than just aesthetically pleasing. Studies show that cluttered and untidy environments are distracting. A clean desk can boost your child's productivity and help to develop their creativity and problem-solving skills. Since we’ve just come back to school from winter break, now is the perfect time to develop the habit of keeping the workspace clean.
